Hmm, it's been some time since I was on the forums.
How is stuff going along with the stage editor and so on?

It is going very slowly. We've been working on other things, like client work and an iPhone game called Pop Pop Garden. We are also currently moving from Atlanta to Portland.
The good news is that one of our client projects was to make some new Puzzle Farter levels, so hopefully you will be able to play those soon. I can't say anymore at this time.
We're still anxious to get the level editor up, but I don't know how long it will take. I'm going to try to put the rough version on the live server soon, so that will be a big step, but there are some other things I need to do before we can beta test it.
Thanks for asking, FireFarter.

Now, I just went to PF and I think I found some kind of bug:
When you push the down button, he bends down. Right?
However, I am guessing that his "character mark" is moving if you bend. For example, if you are JUST standing at the goal door with your back against it, and bend down, you touch the door!
Something else I wanted to mention about the level editor:
Maybe a Time Limit is a possibility, but only for moderator view? To approve it's possible to pass the level with the certain time limit.

You are correct, his collision box changes when he ducks.
I think you will have to complete a level successfully before you can submit it. In fact, I think I'll probably make it so that you have to complete it without getting hurt at all. Does a time limit really matter, though? We try to keep all the levels really quick, but I don't want to impose that restriction on anyone else.

I like the idéa that you must be able to complete the level , not getting hurt at all, to submit it. That way you can't make impossible levels.
I just asked if a time limit would be good, but I see some disadvantages now. It's not that neccessary.
I like the idéa. I really do. The fact that if you must be able to finish without loosing a single health star, prooves it's possible to make it a perfect clear for others to play.
Just to think about the level editor.. I think that there should be a level limit. I mean, no one would bother trying to do like over 200? (Yes, I am aware the puzzles takes no more than a minute to complete each though) But it could get boring. Some kind of limit could be good, and perhaps earning it? Like, if your maze has defeated like at least 10 players, you can add 1 additional level. I think making like 50 levels could be the base, and making a maximum of maybe 100 or lesser as the max.

Thanks, FireFarter. I like those suggestions. I've continued the discussion here: http://puzzlefarter.com/forum/viewtopic … d=379#p379

Allright, got folks.
It's been a long time since someone posted.
So how is the work going along Austin?
I hoped there could be something me and the others could help you.

Hey FireFarter,
We are currently relocating from Atlanta to Portland, OR, so everything is on hold at the moment. I've made the first major step with putting the level editor online, but I've got another big piece to do before anyone can test it.
We're also working on a new game that I hope you will like.
I can't say when we'll have the next thing for beta testing, but I'm hoping we'll get things moving a lot quicker once we settle in Portland.

Allright, again it has been a long time until someone has written anything on the forums.
How is stuff going Austin? Is the level editor close?

It depends on if we get a new client project this week. If we don't, then we might have the very basic stuff to test in maybe a month. If we do, then it'll be at least a few months longer.
Sorry that it is taking so long. I think we have some really good ideas for it, though. I'm almost done with the login portion and once that is complete, then we can begin testing.

Allright. Sad to hear the risk exists.
I'll just go get myself a signature (Like some people seems to have here) .. if I manage to find out how to.
Edit: I did. And, yeah. The signature doesn't lie, I am a PFA. (Laughs)

*Farts*
So, how are stuff going now?
The forums aren't active, although it's not the end of the world.
An advice to all forum members is to check back often for more new info.

Roger that.
New client Project..
I'm assuming this is for someone else (After reading on Pet Tomato.com).
There's one issue with Puzzle Farter reskins: It's shown on the website that there are 2 reskins, Energy Rescue, but Moon Hops? There are no play button for that one.
